Job Title: Service Center Customer Service Representative
Reports to (title): Service Center Supervisor / Sample Logistics Manager
Department: Sample Logistics
Basic Purpose:
Key Accountability/Responsibilities
Greet all clients in a friendly, positive manner
• Receive all external client samples
• Repack samples and arrange for shipments of all samples to the fixed labs.
• Coordinate with external providers such as courier services and hot-shots when required
• Ensure proper daily communication of sample shipments to the fixed labs
• Prepare bottle orders requests and coordinate delivery of bottle orders
• Recognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor
• Ensure supply inventories are maintained
• Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to project management and supervisor as appropriate
• Work closely with outside sales staff to grow Bureau Veritas’s market share with existing and new clients
• Monitor/Calibrate the temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns
• Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements.
• Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies.
• All other responsibilities as assigned

High School Diploma.
• Experience in a laboratory environment is considered an asset
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments
• Energetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required

• Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing
