About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Teamlead Nuclear Decommissioning to build and lead multiple teams across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will take ownership of decommissioning and dismantling projects, combining technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.



Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Project Management:
    • Plan and implement dismantling and decommissioning measures in nuclear facilities from technical and organizational perspectives;
    • Develop dismantling concepts independently, selecting appropriate dismantling, decontamination, and disassembly procedures for pipelines, ventilation systems, filter systems, and other facility components;
    • Conduct activity and dose assessments; manage clearance assessments for residual material classification and disposal planning.

 

  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Build and lead high-performing teams across multiple locations in the Netherlands and Belgium;
    • Ensure seamless information flow between planning, execution, radiation protection, disposal, and regulatory authorities;
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources using standard IT tools;
    • Drive projects toward successful completion with strategic oversight.



Your Profile

  • You have a degree in energy technology, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable field;
  • Ideally, you have experience in the field of nuclear decommissioning and waste disposal with customer contact;
  • You are familiar with the application of legal frameworks such as the Atomic Energy Act (AtG), the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG), the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV), final storage approvals, and regulatory requirements;
  • You are known for your strong analytical skills, a high degree of initiative, and your independent, structured way of working;
  • You are very familiar with common IT applications (MS Office programs);
  • You are flexible and willing to travel;
  • Ideally, you have a valid driver's license;
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing, French or Dutch skills are an advantage.
