OHTL LEAD ENGINEER – OVERHEAD TRANSMISSION LINES

Bureau Veritas Kazakhstan is looking for an experienced OHTL Lead Engineer for a large-scale Wind Power & BESS Project in Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise OHTL construction activities.
• Monitor installation and construction works for overhead transmission lines.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and construction quality.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams and other project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in HV overhead transmission line (OHTL) projects.
• Experience in construction, installation and site supervision.
• Previous experience in EPC or Owner’s Engineer environments.
• Experience with large-scale power, renewable energy or grid infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan regulations and construction practices will be an advantage.
