Hydrology / Drainage Engineer

Bureau Veritas Kazakhstan is looking for an experienced Hydrology / Drainage Engineer for a large-scale Wind Power & BESS Project in Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and supervise hydrology and drainage works.
• Assess site drainage and stormwater management solutions.
• Review engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable engineering standards.
• Coordinate with civil, road and other engineering disciplines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, drainage systems and civil infrastructure.
• Previous experience in EPC, engineering consultancy or Owner’s Engineer environments.
• Experience in Kazakhstan and familiarity with local requirements will be an advantage.
