NDE Examiner

Job Description:

• PCN or equivalent certified (ASNT Level II or SNT-TC-1A) for Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT), with minimum 10 years of experience.
• Shall have thorough knowledge of acceptance criteria for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping as per applicable codes including ASME Section V, ASME Section VIII, API 510, API 570, and API 653.
• Capable of performing UT thickness measurements, weld examination, and flaw detection using A-scan and phased array UT techniques.
• Shall perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) using wet fluorescent and dry powder methods on welds and base metal.
• Shall perform Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) on welds, heat affected zones, and base metal surfaces.
• Shall capable of interpreting and evaluating NDE results against applicable code acceptance criteria and issuing NDE reports.
• Shall calibrate and maintain NDE equipment as per applicable procedures and standards.
• Knowledgeable in various forms of corrosion and degradation mechanisms and their NDE detection methods.
• Shall prepare and review NDE procedures in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

• PCN / ASNT Level II / SNT-TC-1A certification in UT, MT, PT
• Minimum 10 years of NDE experience
• Strong knowledge of ASME/API codes and acceptance criteria
• Experience in flaw detection, testing, and reporting
• Relevant project experience of O&G (project construction, QA/QC & Commissioning) is mandatory
• Candidate must have valid certificates – copy shall be provided along with CV.
