This is a 4 months contract subject to renew.

 

This role responsibles for ensuring that all piping and welding work meets industry standards, regulations, and specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality and integrity of piping systems and welded joints to ensure they are constructed and maintained according to project requirements and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspection:

o Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems and welded joints to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and specifications.

o Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure correct implementation.

o Perform visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other relevant testing methods.

· Testing:

o Execute various tests such as pressure tests, leak tests, and weld quality assessments.

o Document test results and maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.

· Compliance:

o Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM).

o Verify that all materials and components used in piping and welding meet required specifications and standards.

· Reporting:

o Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, deviations, and recommendations.

o Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding inspection results and quality issues.

· Troubleshooting:

o Identify and report any defects or non-compliance issues and work with relevant teams to develop and implement corrective actions.

o Provide technical support and advice on welding and piping-related issues.

· Documentation:

o Maintain and organize inspection records, test results, and compliance documentation.

o Ensure proper documentation and certification for all inspected and tested components.

 

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent

· At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
