QAQC Engineer- Highway/Road Infrastructure (Tarlac)

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in road, highway, and infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements through proper inspection, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction activities
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards (e.g., DPWH), and quality plans
• Review and verify technical documents, shop drawings, and method statements
• Monitor testing of materials (e.g., concrete, asphalt, soil) and validate results
• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and consultants on quality issues
• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, and documentation
• Assist in audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems

Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred
• 5–10 years of QA/QC experience in road, highway, or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and testing procedures
• Familiarity with DPWH specifications and quality requirements
• Experience in material testing and inspection processes
• Proficient in MS Office and documentation/reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or government projects
• Background in ISO quality management systems is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections
