GMA Manager-EE NC

Objectives:

Manage and develop the global market assess services; Accountable for the management of the recognized and the product surveillance process; good relations of global market.

Duties & Responsibilities:
General:
- Carry out projects independently.
- Responsible for the certification/inspection/audit program achievement.
- Responsible for the lead-time of the certification/inspection/audits and share to related parties timely.
- Assist client for the application preparation and on-going applications including document collecting, translation, and compilation.
- Deliver on-site training for clients for necessary.
- Witness and/or attend product test on supplier site or 3rd party lab if necessary.
- Actively participate in product application troubleshooting / problem solving.
- Review all relevant documents before issuing certificates, and ensure that all necessary steps have been taken in compliance to applicable procedures to evaluate product safety, and all files and records are kept properly in place.
- Responsible to deliver the product validation note to marketing and clients after certificate issuing and before renewing.
- Constantly seek to optimize the certification process.
- List and explain non-compliance to related parties as well as handle certification related enquiries, provide necessary support to Sales & Marketing and all engineering divisions.
- Deliver training and help develop global certification reviewers.
- Responsible for the product validation cost revision for marketing.
- Propose way of improvement (service quality, lead-time, cost reduction …).
- Capitalize the return of experience and knowledge sharing with the engineering team.
- Support team for all test and validation requirement.
- Develop new certificate and services with the coordination of the head of GMA.

Technical skills
- Knowledge of the Certification rules and process

Skills and Requirements:
- Strong customer and service orientation, with high level of initiative and proactive approach.
- Good communication skills (able to teach clients about certification, documentation, audit and testing requirements).
- EE and/or foreign language background.
- Experience in homologation and/or vehicle industry will be an asset.
- Qualified for EE Approval.
- Good communication and coordination.
- Well known testing, homologation and engineering resources.
- Eager to learn and self – motivated.
- Proactive working attitude / self-motivated / professional.
- Maturity allowing to work in an autonomous way / able to solve problems / open to new projects, reactivity.
- Creativity, initiative, and independence in solving small problems and propose solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a various level of persons.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good team work spirit and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel if required.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Windows, Word and Excel.
- Good English capabilities.
