Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the company's most strategic and high-value customer accounts. They will be the primary point of contact for these key clients, working closely with them to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Key Account Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of the company's most important customer accounts
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key clients, building strong, collaborative relationships
- Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, goals, and challenges, and use this knowledge to provide strategic recommendations and customized solutions
- Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client success
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts
- Forecast and track key account performance metrics, and report on progress to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account-specific sales strategies
- Represent the company and maintain a positive brand image with key clients
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in key account management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a key account management or strategic sales role
- Proven track record of growing and retaining high-value customer accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration or a related field
- Experience in the HLTY industry
- Certification in key account management or sales management
