Key Responsibilities:
- Engage actively within the global project management community to share insights, acquire knowledge, and report on China Scope projects that align seamlessly with the LEAP 28 strategic plans.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional/SBU teams to pinpoint and prioritize critical business processes currently experiencing pain points. Design and implement initiatives aimed at resolving these issues, incorporating change management methodologies to ensure comprehensive understanding and successful implementation by key business stakeholders.
- Direct the execution of cross-functional/SBU projects that align with strategic business objectives by devising tactics to achieve business goals and strategies. Assess the impact on applications and business functions, justify the necessary investment levels, and ensure thorough risk consideration.
- Guide cross-functional stakeholders through the resolution of business issues through structured meetings, workshops, discussions, and co-creation of working groups. Determine innovative ways of working that enhance the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Activities:
- Identify and map out key business processes, adopting a holistic perspective that may involve examining organizational structure, processes, and systems.
- Work in tandem with businesses and key stakeholders to evaluate potential solutions, and, if necessary, bring in external expertise to support the design phase.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to various departments, co-creating solutions and frequently testing ideas to ensure their acceptance and feasibility.
- Champion change management, effectively embedding and sustaining change within the organization.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the benefits outlined in the business case and evaluate their achievement.
- Foster robust partnerships with stakeholders to establish excellence in business operations, incorporating best practices and effective root cause analysis into future iterations of processes and tools, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Managing as a peer leader within the organization and actively participating to ensure success of strategic objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of work experience preferably with project management experience.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
- Experience in AI Project Management will be advantageous.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound problem solving and conflict management skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
