Job Summary:
The China Key Account Manager is responsible for driving and supporting the onboarding of new key accounts within the designated Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in China. The key focus of this role is to leverage Bureau Veritas' sustainability and other transversal services and expertise to prepare tailored solutions for existing key accounts. The China Key Account Manager will work closely with the sales team to identify and capture new revenue opportunities, while also ensuring the effective delivery of services to maintain and grow existing key account relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts within the designated SBU in China, acting as the primary point of contact and advocate for Bureau Veritas' transversal services.

Understand the specific needs and challenges of key accounts in China, particularly in the areas of sustainability and other transversal services, and work collaboratively with the sales team to design and deliver customized solutions.

Proactively identify new revenue opportunities within existing key accounts in China, leveraging Bureau Veritas' portfolio of sustainability, inspection, certification, and other transversal services and expertise.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless delivery of transversal services and a positive customer experience for key accounts in China.

Monitor and analyze key account performance in China, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth and retention of transversal service revenue.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in sustainability and other transversal service areas, and share this knowledge with the sales team and key accounts in China to position Bureau Veritas as a trusted advisor.

Contribute to the development and implementation of key account management strategies and processes for the China market, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and focus on transversal service revenue onboarding.

Provide regular reports and updates on key account performance, challenges, and opportunities in China, with a specific focus on transversal service revenue, to senior management.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a key account management or business development role, preferably in the sustainability, inspection, certification, or professional services industry, with a focus on the China market.

Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and growing key account relationships in China, with a focus on driving transversal service revenue.

Excellent understanding of sustainability, inspection, certification, and other transversal service concepts, trends, and best practices, and the ability to translate technical information into business solutions tailored for the Chinese market.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior-level executives in China.

Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Willingness to travel within China to meet with key accounts as needed.
