海事保险检验工程师

Main Responsibilities:

1.    Attending vessels, shipyards, shore facilities, offices, providing technical support by means of conducting surveys of various types, reviewing plans / drawings / documentation and providing professional views or opinions. 
2.    Engaged in third-party impartial inspection and professional technical services in maritime and shipping fields, such as technical inspection and evaluation of ships, supervision of loading and unloading of heavy parts, and maritime technical services such as the commencement and termination of lease;
3.    Insurance inspection and risk prevention; Cargo loading and unloading supervision; Container inspection; Maritime accident inspection and investigation; Technical services for the safe transportation of heavy and special cargoes.
4.    Inspection, valuation and risk assessment of the subject matter insured before underwriting, survey, inspection, loss assessment and adjustment of the subject matter insured after insurance;
5.    To ensure that group procedures and contracted technical specifications are adhered to and are checked against performance
6.    Responsible for the coordination of projects conducted for local or global clients with the collaboration of other Business Department
7.    Other missions cascaded from line manager or group

Requirements:

1.    Bachelor's degree in shipping-related majors, better with a valid First Class Certification of Master Mariner, or capacity of Chief Engineer
2.    Well mastered specifications, conventions and technical standards relevant to shipping business
3.    Familiar with the third-party role of inspection work and technical services in the marine and shipping business
4.    Maintain good commercial and technical communications with ship owners, ship design companies, shipyard or other relevant
5.    Ability to lead and guide the shipping team with good coordination, initiative and a spirit of cooperation
6.    Adapt overtime and frequent travel as required by work
7.    Acceptable for frequent onshore & offshore site work
8.    Keep Healthy and fluent in English
