Investment Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with various internal business teams to understand corporate & region strategy, innovation demands and translate them into project scouting guidelines, conduct industry and market research to learn in China that align with region strategy directions
2. Project/Innovation scouting – Search, identify and analyze potential investment opportunities based on corporate & region requirements and/or tech development mega trends
3. Project filtering – work together with internal business leaders/function experts/key users to evaluate project from different dimensions, e.g., fitness to our strategic goals, financial viability, competitiveness, and risk factors
4. Investment analysis –Conduct financial and operational due diligence on targeted project. Including but not limit to interviews, coordinate with internal / external stakeholders
5. PMIP – Participate on the integration of post-invested management of projects
6. Stakeholder communication – regular communicate progress and findings to internal stakeholders and line managers. Prepare structured documents (reports/presentation) for alignment and decision-making
7. Portfolio management – monitor performance of responsible portfolio companies post-investment, assist with strategy development and report on results

 Qualifications: 

1. Bachler degree and above in finance, economy, business administration
2. At least 3 years of proved experience in an investment role or project management role
3. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct thorough analysis and can present analysis/conclusion in an organized way
4. Proactive self-starter and strong work ethic
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromise on details, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a prioritized way
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders
