RESPONSIBILTIES:

  1. To cooperate with M&S and Strategic Sales Departments to visit the clients to promote BV’s image on training topics,
  2. To evaluate clients’ expectations for preparation and development of training materials related to ship operations, Maritime Risk Assessment and Crisis Management, TMSA,
  3. Adaptation and regular updating of technical internal training materials to be presented to external trainees,
  4. Ensure the arrangement of training sessions for the clients based on confirmed topics, dates, agenda and invitees.
  5. Close cooperation with other BV China Operating Groups (Certification Department) for arrangement of trainings related to ISO certification
  6. Establish internal communications with BV China M&O operational departments for arrangement of trainers,
  7. Based on training needs, communication with external sources to arrange trainers to deliver operational and non-technical trainings, as required,After delivery of training, to evaluate trainees’ comments, scores on feedback forms and provide action plan for improvements, as needed,

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1- Communication skill – to ensure for Effective communication. The candidate  must be able to articulate ideas clearly, listen actively, and encourage open dialogue. The candidate be adept at adapting their communication style to connect with individuals/trainees from diverse backgrounds and ensure understanding.

2- Adaptability skill – the candidate must be flexible and adapt his/her training methods and prepared training materials to meet the needs. The candidate will be able to modify content of training, delivery methods, and activities to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.

3- Marine and Offshore Expertise – The candidate must possess knowledge and expertise in M&O field in particular for ship operations and in cooperation with his/her managers shall make regular updates technical trainings including best practices, and M&O industry advancements. He should be able to develop/deliver trainings on ship operations, TMSA, maritime risk assessment and management that will help confidence in learners and helps establish our credibility

4- Patience – Considering the learning is a gradual process, and the candidate should exhibit patience throughout and should be able to provide individualized guidance, answer questions patiently, and create a safe space for learners to explore and make mistakes.

5- Creativity – The candidate should be a creative person who can make learning enjoyable and memorable, as needed. Incorporating innovative teaching methods, interactive activities, and multimedia elements can enhance engagement and facilitate better retention of information.

6- It is preferable that the candidate has TRAIN THE TRAINERS certificate.

7- The candidate should have a knowledge for commercial aspects to ensure for easy communication with the clients on M&S point of view.
