Purpose of Position

Business Development for I&F products in the markets of: Oil & Gas (upstream, Mid Stream & Down Stream), Power (Thermal, Gas, Hydro, Solar, Wind & Thermal), Process, Material Handling

Major Responsibilities

  • Recognising the prospective clients in the region, and create a data base & regularly updating the same.
  • Early identification and follow up of major projects, OPEX service opportunities & tenders.
  • Identification, preparation and submission of pre-qualification, expression of interest, offers & tenders.
  • Visiting prospective clients to present BV services and to identify the client need as an opportunity to BV, follow up actions and keeping the respective division heads in communication loop.
  • Shall prepare offers and tenders for the Large and Mid-Size customers across North region for IND BL.
  • Keep track of bids/offers submitted till its final outcome and regular updating in Salesforce CRM
  • Preparing Contract review forms, Order acknowledgement & ensure its Flex  (internal contract number) opening in coordination with the concern
  • Efficient in using the marketing tools such as presentation material, company profile, service sheets, reference list, completion/appreciation letters, etc.
  • Keeping in touch with the various publicity activities in the region such as exhibitions, seminars, conferences etc., and explore the possibility of showcasing the organization and services.
  • Interacting with the BD of other regions for mutual exchange of expertise, work, common clients and other references.
  • Keep track of EMD's , Security deposits & PBG submitted & follow up for its release.

Qualification and Experience 

  • B.E or Diploma Engineer (Mech/ Chemical) with min. 5 yrs of experience in Sales of Product /Services
  • Management degree will be an added advantage but not mandatory

  • Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       
  • To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
  • To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    
  • Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
  • Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
