Purpose of Position
- Business Development for Building & Infrastructure Business line. He/She shall prepare offers and tenders for the key accounts, large offers & tenders.
Ø Major Responsibilities
- Business Development for all product portfolio for Construction & In-service Verification Business Lines – (Products – EIA, Geotech, Design Review, QA/QC, NDT-RR. HSE Audits & Training)
- Tender Register and entry for new inquiries, bid opening details & contract booking.
- Preparing synopsis, project description & offer self-review of tenders/large proposals.
- Documentation & Preparation of tenders/offers.
- EMD, Tender Fee, Solvency & PBG request to Managers.
- Preparing Contract acknowledgement & ensure its ZIG opening.
- Regret Letters
- Tender/Offers/Correspondence letters dispatch & tracking for courier.
- Co-ordinate with other area offices.
- Keep track of bids/offers submitted till its final outcome.
- Updating all opportunities, Offers/Contract Reviews format, Sales factor format & ZIG No. opening, in sales factor or appropriate software.
Keep track of EMD's submitted & follow up for its release.
Roles & Responsibilities for HSSE
- Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety and environment and workmen employment.
- Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team
- Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
- Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment
Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Meeting the Sales Budget
- Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
- Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
- Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
Ø Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in Civil Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in Sales / Marketing in the relevant industry.
- MBA in marketing will be an added advantage.
Ø Skills & Qualities:
- Should be a ‘Go to Market’ attitude personnel with ability to connect people, client contacts at higher level & should be able to convert contacts into business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & Good Personal Hygine.
- Should have good selling skills.
- Should have a pleasing personality
- Good communication and presentation skills.
