Purpose of Position
- The job incumbent is responsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control of the construction works at different stages.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Major Responsibilities
- Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
- Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
- Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the MEP design plan.
- Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
- Assist in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order.
- Assist in the installation of MEP work.
- Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor.
- Coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings.
- Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff.
- Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability.
- Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records.
- Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
- Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
- To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
- To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
- Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
- Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects.
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Maintain timely delivery of inspection reports
- No of quality checks/inspections carried out
- Identification and closure of NCRs in time
- Implementation of QAP/SOPs
- Ensuring zero customer complaints
- Compliance of internal and external accreditation guidelines, policies, procedures
- Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
- Qualification, Experience & Technical Knowledge

- Degree in mechanical/electrical, and plumbing Engineering or a MEP course with minimum 8 years of experience.

- Skills & Qualities:
- Should be proficient in basic Computer Applications- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Should have fair knowledge in Civil Engineering software packages like Autocad, Revit & any other.
- Should have good communication skill
- Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English
