 Purpose of Position

 

  • The Environment Planner will identify and assess environmental and social risks in projects, develop mitigation measures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Good International Industry Practice (GIIP). The role supports sustainable project planning through environmental due diligence, impact assessments, ESG compliance, and environmental management initiatives.

 

Major Responsibilities

 

  • Identify, assess, and evaluate environmental and social (E&S) risks associated with projects across various industry sectors.
  • Conduct environmental and social due diligence studies for private sector projects and investments.
  • Prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMP), Environmental Monitoring Plans, and Sustainability Action Plans.
  • Assess social impacts, community concerns, livelihood issues, and stakeholder risks.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, environmental audits, and compliance monitoring.

 

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

HSSE -

  • Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety and environment and workmen employment.
  • Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team. 
  • Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
  • Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment

Quality -

  • To comply company Quality requirements e.g. policies, procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on Quality as applicable.
  • Support to Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence.
  • Setup smart (Specific Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time Bound) Quality Objectives for himself and for Team in Success factor as applicable in area of Operation.
  • Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior and TIQ on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Quality.

 

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

 

  • On-time delivery of Reports
  • Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
  • Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
  • Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
  • To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.

 

Qualification and Experience

General:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Agriculture, Forestry, or a related field.

 

Technical:

  • Experience in environmental and social due diligence
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment

 

Skills & Qualities:

  • Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
  • Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.

  • Ability to work in a team.
