Purpose of Position 

 

  • To plan, design, develop, and supervise horticulture and landscape works for infrastructure, urban development, waterfront, institutional, industrial, commercial, and public realm projects. The role involves preparation of landscape master plans, plantation schemes, irrigation layouts, ecological enhancement measures, and ensuring sustainable landscape development.

 

Major Responsibilities

 

  • Develop project-specific sustainability frameworks, strategies, and action plans.
  • Prepare landscape master plans, conceptual layouts, and detailed landscape designs.
  • Prepare landscape drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates
  • Develop planting plans, softscape and hardscape designs, thematic gardens, parks, open spaces, and streetscape landscaping.
  • Design green belts, waterfront landscapes, public spaces, recreational zones, and urban green infrastructure.
  • Selection of suitable trees, shrubs, ground covers, flowering plants, and native species based on local climatic conditions.
  • Prepare soil improvement, nutrient management, and landscaping maintenance plans.
  • Monitor landscape construction and horticulture activities at project sites.
  • Review contractor submissions, material approvals, and method statements.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on plantation and landscaping works.

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

  • Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       
  • To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
  • To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    
  • Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
  • Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

  • On-time delivery of Reports
  • Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
  • Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
  • Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
  • To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.

Qualification and Experience

General:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Agriculture, Forestry, or a related field.

 

Technical:

  • Strong knowledge of landscape architecture, horticulture, arboriculture, and urban green infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, Lumion, Revit, or other landscape design software.

 

 Skills & Qualities:

  • Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
  • Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.

  • Ability to work in a team.
