Purpose of Position
- The job incumbent is responsible for conducting NDT & SDT Tests as per the
procedure laid down
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System,
including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
Major Responsibilities
- Conducting NDT Tests as per the procedure laid down
- Semi Destructive Test (SDT)
- Load test on structural members/slab
- Knowledge of construction chemicals and strengthening materials.
- Distress mapping in buildings.
- Evaluation of quality of construction through NDT & SDT.
- Maintenance of standard reference materials and records.
- Review and update work instructions from time to time
- Carry out internal calibration under guidance of Technical manager.
- Preparation of Measurement of uncertainty document with the help of Technical
Manager
- Maintain the documentation required as per NABL criteria.
- Ensure implementation of QMS in the area of responsibility corporate standards
(e.g. Code of Ethics, BV Values, corporate identity, policies, procedures)
Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
- Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
- To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc.
and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
- To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
- Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work
practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
- Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
- Maintain Cost control
- Account receivables and manage cash flow
- Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
- Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
- Development and management of human resources
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE - Civil
- Min 1-5 years relevant experience in NDT
Skills & Qualities:
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Should have a pleasing personality
