Ø Purpose of Position-
- To supervise and ensure quality installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, fire protection systems, STP, WTP, and integrated building services.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
Ø Major Responsibilities –
- Oversee HVAC ducting, chilled water, VRF, AHU, FCU, and mechanical room works.
- Monitor firefighting works: hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, fire extinguishers, FHCs, fire tanks.
- Supervise plumbing & drainage, water supply, and sanitary works.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS codes, and safety guidelines.
- Review shop drawings, pressure testing, balancing, and commissioning plans.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, façade, and IBMS teams.
- Maintain T&C records and quality inspection logs.
- Assist in material approvals and contractor billing verification.
Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) -
- Quality & compliance of mechanical and fire protection system installation.
- Completion of testing and commissioning milestones.
- Safety performance and adherence to fire safety standards.
- Coordination effectiveness among disciplines.
- Accuracy of documentation and inspection reports.
Ø Qualification, Experience and Technical knowledge-
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in MEP & fire protection for high‑rise projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing standards, and fire protection codes (NFPA/IS).
- Experience in integrated services and IBMS interfaces.
