Job Summary (Brief overview on the scope of job responsibility):

•    Perform audits / assessments as and when assigned in accordance to Client and BV guidelines.    


Interrelationships (Other key functional or communicational lines):

•    Communicate with Supervisor&comma Trainer or Manager for any enquiry and technical support.
•    Communicate with coordinator or Supervisor for any non-technical issues e.g. scheduling.
•    Communicate with report reviewer for final report submission.
•    Communicate with Client Service Manager/Officer if required. 


Job Responsibility & Accountability (Key Roles&comma functions & accountability):

•    Fully understand and conduct audits as a leader or a member of the audit team as per the SOP / Field instructions.
•    Effective communication with workers&comma office staff and factory representative.
•    Ensure all relevant materials / documents are taken during audits.
•    Prepare and submit all Reports&comma CAPs and other audit related documents in a complete&comma comprehensive and presentable in a manner consistent with Client / BV quality and TAT guidelines.
•    Participate in all the training courses as and when scheduled.
•    Fully understand and comply with the requirements of ISO 17020 standards such as controlling and filing of all relevant documents&comma draft and final audit reports.
•    Clarify all audit related queries with Trainer and Manager.
•    Ensure confidentiality of information obtained during the course of employment in BV.
•    Ensure that the equipment / other infrastructure provided by company are not mishandled / damaged.
•    Support the Supervisor / Trainer /Manager for any other job as assigned.
•    Share law updates with the team in case a new law or changes in an existing law comes into notice.
•    Travel and assist in trip planning with short notices as per operational requirements.


Required Skills & Qualification:-

•    A university degree and above&comma 
•    Minimum 4- 5 years fulltime experience in audits (social compliance / factory evaluation) in a buying office&comma factory or third party.  
•    Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulation&comma Industrial EHS requirements&comma Quality and Production systems.
•    Exposure to SA 8000 / WRAP and other environmental standards. 
•    Preference if he/she is approved for SMETA and BSCI Audits.
•    Good written and oral communication skills in English and manageable communication skills in other languages (preferred).  
•    Good knowledge of computers. 
•    Good Quantitative Analysis and time management skills.
•    Team player with ability to work independently. 
•    High level of integrity and ethical standards.
•    Willingness to travel extensively for short/long periods of time.
