NDT Engineer

Ø Major Responsibilities

• Assist in Conducting NDT Tests as per the procedure laid down
• Assist in Conducting Semi Destructive Test  (SDT)
• Assist in Conducting Load test on structural members/slab
• Conducting the NDT tests with the help assistants
• Knowledge of construction chemicals and strengthening materials.
• Distress mapping in buildings.
• Maintenance of standard reference materials and records.
• Ensure implementation of QMS in the area of responsibility corporate standards (e.g. Code of Ethics, BV Values, corporate identity, policies, procedures)

Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
• Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety and environment and workmen employment.
• Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team
• Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
• Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment

Ø Qualification and Experience

General:

• B.Tech/ Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NDT

Technical:

•  Knowledge of NDT / SDT & construction chemicals and strengthening materials will be preferable.

Ø Skills & Qualities:

• Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
• Should have good analytical skills.
• Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.
• Ability to work in a team.
