Ø Purpose of Position
To be responsible for the HSSE function of West Region and HO – CIF
Ø Major Responsibilities
- Lead and animate the HSSE network for CIF West and HO O&P operations.
- Participate in the recruitment, training and assessment of HSSE resources
- Coordinate the entity tasks (Management System, Audit & reports) for CIF
- Cascade Group / APM-OG / CIF SAR information across the CIF West and HO (newsletter, alerts, feedback from LG meeting, etc.)
- Identification of local high risk activities and ensure that processes are in place to protect employees and mitigate the environmental impact
- Mapping of local business processes and ensure they are understood and complied with
- Track and report required HSSE KPIs to HSSE Department CIF SAR and local management as applicable
- Develop or update necessary local procedures to comply with applicable requirements
- Lead or maintain the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications
- Identify and disseminate best practices within the Entity.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis of on-performance, propose corrective and preventive actions
- Analyse Group Safety/Security Alerts, propose local action plan to management and report implementation to Group
- Check the deployment of the Client Satisfaction survey processes
- Communicate local safety alerts to country employees and manager
- Deploy Safety/security Campaigns in coordination with HR network
- Ensure QHSSE induction and training material are appropriate, include Group e-learning modules, and coordinate with HR for the annual training plan. If necessary, deliver training
- Ensure with local management that PPEs are properly managed
- Conduct incidents & accidents investigation
- Coordinate audit program and conduct internal audits with QESIS
- Track corrective & preventive action implementation
- Coordinates Management Review
Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
- Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health safety and environment and workmen employment.
- Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety at their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
- Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health Safety and Environment
Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Safety: FAT, LTR, TAR, ASR, Near Hits, First Aids, causes of accidents, number and investigation of serious accident
- Environmental: Carbon footprint reduction (compare to Y-1)
- Prevention: number of HSSE induction and initial medical surveillance, number of internal audits, number and causes of near hits, number of STBT
- Group / APM OG / CIF SAR programs: monitoring of safety campaigns KPIs.
Ø Qualification and Experience
- Science Graduate / Engineering Diploma / Engineering Degree and Diploma in Safety Management course duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education,
- Minimum 7 years of Experience in HSSE domain
- Skills & Qualities:
- Technical competencies are required
- ISO 14001 ISO 45001: able to conduct internal audit, to maintain certifications
- Legal applicable requirements: knowledgeable in applicable local legal requirements
- Accident investigation: able to coordinate an accident investigation (5 whys)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated good leadership qualities.
- Good communication and presentation skills
