A .NET Architect is a senior-level technology leader responsible for bridging business requirements and technical execution. They design scalable enterprise applications, define the technology stack, establish coding standards, and guide engineering teams through the software development lifecycle to ensure high performance, security, and maintainability.
Core Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Create robust, scalable, and secure application blueprints using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem (e.g., .NET Core, .NET 5/6/7/8). Technical Leadership: Mentor development teams, review code, and enforce best practices and design patterns.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies and make recommendations to modernize applications and improve system performance. Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with management.
- System Integration & Deployment: Ensure smooth integration with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), databases, and third-party APIs while maintaining high availability.
- Product Development : Experience in Product development on a platform is desired. Application modernization
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, microservices architecture, and frontend integrations. Experience in application development and platform customization.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong working knowledge of cloud computing (primarily AWS cloud), Github, GitLab, Infra Optimization.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot high-level system bottlenecks, data latency, and security vulnerabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 8–15+ years of progressive experience in software development, with several years in an architectural or lead role.
