Job Title:  Executive Sales NDT

 Reports to (job): Manager (NDT) – B&I                                                                                                      

 

Ø Purpose of Position

 

  • To generate business for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services related to civil engineering structures.
  • To develop and maintain client relationships for buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and infrastructure projects.
  • To support the growth of the NDT division by securing new projects and repeat work.

Ø Major Responsibilities

    • To identify potential clients such as builders, developers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
    • To promote NDT services including Rebound Hammer, UPV, Half-Cell Potential, Core Cutting, Carbonation Test, Cover Meter Test, and Ferro Scanning.
    • To understand client requirements and coordinate with the NDT technical team for suitable testing solutions.
    • To prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineers.
    • To follow up on enquiries, quotations, and work orders until final confirmation.
    • To attend client meetings, site visits, and project discussions when required.
    • To maintain records of enquiries, proposals, approvals, and ongoing projects.
    • To coordinate with operations teams for smooth planning and execution of awarded work.
    • To track market activities, competitor services, and project opportunities.
    • To ensure timely collection of payments by coordinating with accounts and clients.
    • To represent the company in a professional manner during meetings and site visits.

Ø Qualification and Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 6-8 years of experience in NDT of civil structures.
  • Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience in technical sales or construction services.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development related to NDT, testing laboratories, construction, or engineering consultancy (preferred).

Ø Skills & Qualities:

    • Basic understanding of civil engineering works and construction practices.
    • Knowledge of NDT services or willingness to learn technical aspects.
    • Good communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-up documents.
    • Result-oriented approach with focus on targets and deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and coordinate with technical teams.
    • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
