Purpose of Position

Job Title:  Manager-Geotechnical & Investigation                                                                                                        

Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd(BVIL)                                                                                                       Location:Noida                                                                                                      

 Reports to (job): Head – B&I                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Ø Purpose of Position

• Responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing subsurface conditions (soil, rock, groundwater) at proposed and existing infrastructure sites to guide foundation design, identify potential risks, and ensure structural safety and longevity. 
• The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group Policy(ies).

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline with 12-15 years of experience.
• Proven experience in conducting geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of relevant software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geotechnical investigation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certification may be required.
