Job Purpose
To supervise civil works execution, ensure quality compliance, and monitor progress as per drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Major Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervise daily civil construction activities—structural, finishing, external works.
• Conduct inspections for shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, etc.
• Ensure contractor works comply with approved drawings and QA/QC procedures.
• Verify measurements for billing and assist in certification.
• Maintain DPRs, checklists, pour cards, and inspection logs.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, and MEP teams for interfaces.
• Report progress, issues, and delays to Project Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

  • Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       
  • To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
  • To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    
  • Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
  • Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

 

  • Qualification and Experience

 

  • Graduate in Civil/Materials Engineering/ Geology, with masters preferably in Civil engineering/ Concrete Engineering/ Materials engineering with experience with 3 years of similar experience.


Skills & Qualities
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction standards.
• Good understanding of drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Inspection and QA/QC skills.
• Coordination and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and project reporting tools.

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

• Quality compliance rate and number of NCRs.
• Progress achieved vs. planned schedule.
• Accuracy of measurements and billing inputs.
• Timeliness of inspections and reporting.
• Closure of site issues and punch points.
