We are looking for a Site Manager for an onshore wind farm project in northern Germany with a duration of 12 months as a resident:

Job Summary:
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of an onshore wind farm construction project in northern Germany. This includes managing the site team, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and driving the successful completion of the project within budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, including turbine installation, foundation work, electrical infrastructure, and site preparation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on-site.
- Develop and implement comprehensive site management plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
- Manage the site team, including supervision, performance evaluation, and training.
- Collaborate with the project management team to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including site logs, incident reports, and quality assurance records.
- Participate in regular project meetings and provide status updates to the client and project leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a site management role, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of wind farm construction processes, including turbine installation, electrical systems, and civil works.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and timeline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in English, German language not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to the project site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Certification in project management or site management (e.g., PMP, CSCS).
- Experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects in northern Europe.
- Knowledge of wind farm operations and maintenance best practices.
