How can you leave your mark?
For Bureau Veritas Italy company, we are looking for a Mechanical Completion Supervisor for a 3-year wind project.
Responsibilities:
- Collect all the information generated as a consequence of the inspections / ITPs.
- Certify that all requested information / documentation has been accepted by the inspectors of all parties on site (Client, Certifier, and Subcontractor).
- Ensure that the Fabrication Record Book (FRB) is developed during the execution of the works and accepted by the interested parties.
- Ensure compliance of the documentation in terms of timeliness and quality (within 2 days).
- Upload the required documentation to the documentation control platforms (Tp! / Menu DOSA).
- Coordinate / compile the documentation that generates any claims issued.
- Upload to DALUX (or other systems) the defects found during the inspections.
- Support the supervisor in closing the defects.
- Verify the correct application of the agreed Project procedures.
- Verify the documentary compliance as required in the various ITPs.
- Perform audits on the manufacturing and quality processes, if required.
- Report weekly progress in terms of quality, also verifying the progress provided by the Subcontractor.
- Monitor, control and improve the established KPIs.
- Confirm the documentation / work done before attending the notified inspections.
- Follow-up and close the LOP (defects) issued by any party.
- Update and control the LOP (Fault) system to be used, DALUX, Subcontractor's internal system, IFR's, NCR.
- Report quality issues observed during the follow-up / monitoring.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Visual Inspector
- Level II qualification according to DIN EN 9712 or equivalent
- English level B2 (certification is not necessary)
