Responsibilites
- Supervise the installation and erection of petrochemical plant equipment in line with project requirements and schedule.
- Monitor EPC contractor activities, including equipment handling and lifting works.
- Follow up on heavy lifting activities to ensure safe and proper execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to check progress and compliance with approved drawings and procedures.
- Provide technical support during equipment installation and related lifting operations.
- Review erection procedures, lifting plans, and vendor documents as required.
- Ensure correct positioning, alignment, and installation of equipment.
- Work closely with HSE teams to maintain safe lifting and equipment handling practices.
- Report progress and any technical concerns to PMC management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in equipment erection, mechanical installation, or site supervision.
- Experience in petrochemical, refinery, or similar industrial projects.
- Experience with petrochemical plant equipment and heavy lifting tools is required.
- PMC experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of installation standards and lifting operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
