Responsibilities

• Supervise steel structure fabrication and erection activities on site in line with project specifications, schedule, and safety requirements.

• Monitor the EPC contractor’s work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, engineering designs, and technical specifications.

• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and ensure quality and safe execution of steel works.

• Provide technical support to the construction team on steel structure installation and related engineering matters.

• Review steel structure drawings, method statements, and technical documents when required.

• Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection to avoid delays.

• Ensure all steel works are carried out according to approved procedures and project standards.

• Support quality control activities to maintain required construction standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–12 years of experience in supervising steel structure fabrication and erection, preferably in petrochemical or similar industrial projects.

• Experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment is an advantage.

• Knowledge of steel construction manufacturing and erection practices.

• Familiar with steel-related ASME and EN codes and standards.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
