BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SUSTAINABILITY (CASPIAN)

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and develop the sustainability sales pipeline across Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Mangolia
• Build and maintain relationships with NOCs (KMG, SOCAR), international operators (Tengizchevroil, BP Azerbaijan, Chevron), EBRD/IFC-financed project sponsors and listed corporates
• Drive sales of BV sustainability services: GHG verification, methane management (OGMP), CBAM pre-verification, ESG assurance, sustainabiility advisory and industry decarbonization and sustainability services.
• Capatilize on the market opportunity in Turkey's steel, cement and manufacturing sector CBAM compliance requirements.  
• Lead or coordinate proposal development for Caspian sustainability mandates
• Maintain pipeline, activity and forecast data in Salesforce on a weekly basis
• Represent BV at regional industry events and sustainability forums
• Lead technical project delivery as project manager and quality reviewer where possible
• Build and execute a key account management strategy for top clients across Caspian area

Requirements 

• 5–8 years of commercial or technical experience in sustainability, ESG, energy or environmental services in Turkey and/or the Caspian. Experience in sustainability strategy consuling is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability consulting/advisory, carbon accounting & verification, methane emissions (OGMP), CBAM, and ESG reporting frameworks
• Demonstrated experience selling to or working with oil & gas, mining or industrial clients in Turkey or the Caspian
• Established professional network in Turkey and/or Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan or Georgia
• Fluency in English and Turkish or Russian (minimum); Kazakh or Azerbaijani is an advantage
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, energy or related field
• Understanding of EU CBAM implications for Caspian and Turkish exporters (steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers)
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM
