Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including detailed timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
- Coordinate and schedule all project activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate closely with the project team, including engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts, to ensure effective communication and alignment
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended solutions
- Manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, risk registers, and change requests
- Provide support in the procurement of necessary equipment, materials, and services
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Participate in project review meetings and provide recommendations for process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Planner or Project Coordinator in the oil and gas industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and industry standards in the oil and gas sector
- Willingness to work on-site in Aberdeen, Scotland for the duration of the project
