The role of the Business Development Executive is to promote and sell the wide range Bureau Veritas range of products and services across a multitude of sectors within the UK, that support making the world a safer place.


You will engage with new clients and some existing to build an opportunity pipeline in line with achievement of the sales targets that will support the delivery and revenue requirements of the business.


You will predominantly be contacting customers via phone, but also using remote meeting technology, and where authorised and appropriate, face to face meetings. Key to this role is the ability to open up opportunities across the wider BV portfolio to increase product holding and customer retention through value driven business conversations.


We are looking for experienced Telesales professionals who want to develop their skills and learn about the world of inspection, testing and certification.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Proactively source new business from all different types of industry sectors in your territory
  • Work with operations and other sales-people in BV to support achieving revenue targets
  • To work your campaign data and leads to support marketing with conversion to opportunity and sales
  • Manage your clients through our CRM system to show activity and opportunity, pipeline development

  • Achieve personal sales targets and annual objectives to support department and business needs
  • Achieve lead conversion expectations
  • Proactive calling of prospects
  • Use Salesforce CRM system to track activity and show sales actions
  • Collaborative working with operations to ensure technical and resource implications are managed
  • Raise quotations with the support of our technical experts in operations 


Experience & Skills Required:


  • Sales experience
  • Ability to work from home
  • Hunger to learn about a new industry
  • To develop an internal & external network through relationship building and good communication skills
