Location: Homebased - must be based in the London area

Role Purpose: 

The role provides critical support to assist in ensuring delivery of all aspects of the contract. You will be responsible for supporting end to end delivery; take responsibility and ownership for maintaining Client & BV aligned systems, ensuring all aspects of the core contract are delivered every time. This role requires a highly organised individual with the ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain accurate asset information across core Bureau Veritas systems to ensure the services required across the portfolio are delivered proactively. Any updates received to be verified and actioned accordingly.
  • Update and maintain all forthcoming activities scheduled in both client and in-house systems for annual audits with dates, audit details and appropriate skill codes of the required service
  • Update and maintain client databases with activities dates, and reports.
  • Responsible for the control and organisation of the management and maintenance of client central records and internal database information via the appropriate external systems if applicable (i.e. Siebel)
  • Provide training to any new starters in the team on client systems and processes. Support as and when required.
  • Where required by contract monitor and report on defined KPI’s. WIP, Invoicing and deliverables
  • Support the planning teams to enable an effective schedule of works.
  • Develop strong working relationship with key supplier stakeholders.
  • Ensure all additional client requests passed to colleagues across Bureau Veritas network are acted upon.
  • Promote and support the culture of ‘One BV’ within the team
  • Able to work under tight deadlines & pressure.
  • General account administration as and when required by the business.

 

Experience

  • Be IT literate with an advanced knowledge of Excel and MS word.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be client focused.
  • Be prepared to attend training and stay overnight where training requires
  • Able to accurately interpret, analyse and deliver data to set deadlines.
  • Proactive in and enthusiastic in their approach to work.
  • Be willing to confront and adapt to new challenges.
  • Have the proven ability to enhance and improve working practices.
  • Have a sound knowledge of finance/invoicing systems.
