ABOUT THE ROLE
The AREA DIRECTOR responsibilities are to lead and drive the profit and loss of the Marine & Offshore portfolio across UK and Ireland. The position is responsible for the overall management of operational activities within the area, talent development, strategy planning and culture cultivation.
Activities & Competencies
- Manage the growth and profit & loss accountability for BV business in the AREA
- Accountability for the performance of the Product Line in the Area
- Optimisation of the delivery models across all services in the Product lines (how we deliver the service, tools used to leverage efficiencies, and optimise the workforce plan to deliver)
- Implement AREA growth strategy in line with Product Line and Area strategies
- Drive the SPP portfolio growth for the Product Line across the AREA
- Oversee business performance and strategy with annual sales, operations budgets and quarterly forecasts, reporting key financial data on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Work with the Area team to formulate a sales strategy that will deliver sustainable, profitable business growth Establish relationship with existing customers and identify new growth opportunities and support cross-selling opportunities within the Area organization
- Detect potential targets for new partnerships/merger
- Define an optimized organization, managing & developing people, in line with yearly budget & plan to optimize turnover and meet growth within the organisation;
- Ensure and be accountable for the implementation BV Procedures related to technical Risk & Quality
