BIOFUELS- RENEWABLE FUELS- VEGETABLE OILS

THE POSITION
As a Sales Manager you will grow and develop our market position within North-West Europe in the Biofuels, Renewable and Feedstock market. You will proactively approach new customers, translate growth opportunities into sales results and contribute to our long-term goals by bidding and tendering for large contracts. Working closely with your clients, you will be in a position to act quickly on new market developments and respond swiftly to your client’s needs as they evolve. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and approach new clients and market sectors in accordance with your sales objectives and our strategic goals
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with existing accounts 
  • Manage selected existing (key) accounts and maximize their sales 
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and deliver on your sales target and revenue expectations in accordance to both long-term and short-term budget & sales plans 
  • Manage tenders in your scope with support of the Tender Management team, technical experts and operational teams
  • Develop and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with your clients and network across North West Europe
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging market trends; and using your strategic insight contribute to the groups Marketing & Sales network in relation to new business opportunities, market trends, product development and changing customer behaviours and needs  

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for an ambitious, agile and self-motivated sales professional, who is inspired by making a meaningful impact on our North West Europe growth strategy.

 

Candidate requirements include:

  • A Master’s degree in a technical or commercial discipline, or relevant industry experience 
  • You are familiar with the commodities market within the Biofuels, Renewable and Feedstock sector, ideally with a network of relevant industry contacts 
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and understand markets, customers and the competitive situation 
  • You are an agile networker and able to communicate at all levels within an organization, building effective relationships with customers, peers & stakeholders
  • You have a “hands on” mentality and are driven by delivering on your commitments
  • You are a careful listener and excellent communicator
  • Fluent in English, Dutch language skills preferred. Other languages such as French and/or German are also advantageous 
  • Based in either Antwerp, Rotterdam or London area
