Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive

Are you ready to make a real impact in the FM/HSI/FIRE sector? Bureau Veritas is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to drive large contract sales, build sustainable partnerships, and help shape the future of our sales strategy.

 

This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a strong B2B sales track record in the FM sector. If you’re a high-level influencer with key account management experience, we want to hear from you!

 

Role Purpose: To build a sustainable pipeline of new business or new scope of work to existing clients, meeting individual sales target, along with developing knowledge across a range of services that BU aligned to, has to offer.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop & execute sales strategy aligned to the market & business needs.
  • Understands & creates clients’ needs through Teams or face to face meetings, to then present a solution of a BV service.
  • Develops lead opportunities either presented by marketing or identified through market trends and needs as PIA’s.
  • Contacts leads provided through Marketing activity within 24 hours and continue to call until loss or converted to an opportunity.
  • Ensures a good level of client satisfaction, measured through NPS score.
  • Uses the CRM system to create opportunities, manage pipeline through close dates & probability factors.
  • Tracks all activity through the CRM system.
  • Outbound cold calling, meetings & emails in line with expectations of the role – high levels of activity.
  • Completes AD50’s for opportunities to ensure all proposed contracts are within the profit margins needed for the Business Units.
  • Forecasting monthly and quarterly on sales performance to assist Business Units in planning of workload.
  • Attend Team meetings for Calling Days, Communication, Training and weekly set-ups.
  • Attend internal stakeholder meetings.
  • Good written & verbal communication to internal stakeholders to develop & maintain the Sales & Operations relationships – Engineers, Surveyors, Inspectors & RDM’s.
  • Attend events where necessary.
  • Negotiate T & C’s to ensure BV is not at risk with work we win.

 

 

Experience & Skills Required:

 

  • Experience in successfully selling services within the FM sector
  • Influencing skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Clear communication skills (oral and written)
  • Networking skills within an organisation
  • Use of LinkedIn to grow contacts within Industry
  • Experience of negotiating T & C’s
  • Experience of writing Tenders
