Opex Engineer

General Description

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and analyze input information to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
• Review project data, design drawings, and technical documentation; verify design principles and clarify any issues with the design team throughout all stages (from concept to construction design).
• Ensure designs comply with applicable local and international codes and standards.
• Validate analytical models, calculation spreadsheets, design reports, and drawings in accordance with the company’s quality assurance procedures.
• Proficient in specialized software such as AutoCAD, Revit (required), and other tools for design and analysis.
• Coordinate with other designers/ other consultants/ other members to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
• Experienced in designing electrical and ELV.
• Capable of supervising M&E works at construction sites.
• Experienced in Quantity take-off, quotation making, and obtaining supplier quotations for electromechanical, contracting document and technical documents.
• Other duties upon request.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned work to meet required progress, quality, and deadlines in line with company procedures.
• Participate in internal and Customer, partner meetings to ensure smooth operations.
• Share knowledge and provide internal training to support team development.

Business Development

• Coordinate with the Business Development team to prepare technical proposals for new project opportunities.
• Research and propose new technical services in the electromechanical field.

Customer’s Care Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to address service-related issues when requested.
• Ensure high-quality performance to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction.

Reporting Responsibilities:

• Provide regular progress reports to line Manager or Clients as required..

Candidate Profile

• University diploma in Electrical field
• At least 5+ years of experience working in designing Electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of local codes & standards, have knowledge of international (EN) code and standards is a plus
• Practical experience in designing hotel/industrial/factory building projects

Technical and professional skills

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit, and other Electrical software…)
