  1. General Description

  1. Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

 

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. You will lead a team of accounting professionals and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a growth mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and drive the department's success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and reporting
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals and objectives
  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and group best practices
  • Identify and address the impact of regulatory and policy changes on the organization's financial operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team in navigating complex tax and regulatory requirements
  • Lead audit preparation for both internal and external audit (including tax audit)
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the accounting team
  • Demonstrate a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, actively seeking ways to improve processes and drive the department's success

 

  1. Job Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor of Finance & Accounting, pursue other professional certification (ACCA, CPA… is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting management role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in financial reporting, taxation
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, as well as tax and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Proactive and growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in leading teams through tax, regulatory, and policy changes
