Job Description:
AP Accountant Reporting: Head of Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC)
Working location: Sky Gate Building, Phu Nhuan, HCMC
Type of contract: Temporary (6 months)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing payments to suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations. This role requires a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing vendor relationships and tax compliance. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.
Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing and Payment Management:
• Validate, record, and process invoices for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing while adhering to payment schedules and policies.
2. Tax Compliance and Reporting:
• Manage VAT, withholding tax, and other relevant tax-related processes in line with regulatory standards.
• Support tax filings and audits, ensuring accurate and up-to-date tax documentation.
3. Reconciliation and Reporting:
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or subcontractors.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable and tax reports for management.
4. Vendor Relationship Management:
• Maintain open and professional communication with vendors and subcontractors regarding payments and discrepancies.
• Ensure all vendor-related documents are accurate and properly maintained.
5. Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement best practices to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with policies.
Candidate Profile
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Hands-on experience with corporate tax compliance, including VAT and withholding tax, is essential.
3. Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
4. Language: Fluency in English language
