Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

 

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

 

To be Business Development Manager for Port & Crane section of the Industry business line in Bureau Veritas Vietnam, Port & Crane BD Manager has good understanding and timely updating the local and regional markets for industry as well as all current and potential BV’s products. With the input from INY Manager & support from other BLs manager, he/she define and deploys the Development strategies for each period as well as relevant area.

 

    • Organize and control implementation of marketing and sales tactics.
    • Handle major sales and negotiation.
    • Responsible for developing new business, either by introducing new products or by entering new markets
    • To do market research and define potential clients
    • To decide the BV products can sell in the market in priority order
    • Set-up a prospect database, list of potential clients for the products
    • Conduct marketing & visit plans on weekly basis
    • Prepare a follow-up action plan for each of the company visited, including the following minimum requirements
    • Prepare technical & financial proposal and draft of the contract, write up the offers;
    • Leading the INY tendering process and be responsible for its correctness and in timely manner.
    • Coordination with other BV’s BDs for the assistant or development of the common BV group business.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • University degree.
  • Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English
  • Good command in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
  • Understanding of Port & Crane markets, good capability in marketing & sales activities
