Bureau Veritas Vietnam is looking for a Business Manager to lead the government services & international trade business in driving and developing sales and marketing strategy, managing P&L, leading and developing high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and identifying growth opportunities through new service offerings within Vietnam.
A successful candidate would be a blend of strong commercial skills, strategic vision, operational excellence, and a proven ability to drive transformational growth.
Business Manager's job roles:
- Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve company goals
- Lead and manage the sales, operations and office support teams, providing direction, training, mentorship, and performance management
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities that can contribute to company vision and mission.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing programs, campaigns, and tactics to acquire new customers and significantly expand business with existing customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other department heads (e.g. product, operations, function, finance) to align with the company’s strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Represent the company and build relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers
- Stay up to date on the latest country best practices, policies, technologies, and trends
- To regularly monitor inspector performance, establish clear objectives and requirements, conduct regular assessments, use a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to collect and analyse data.
- To manage a structured approach involving technical & practical training, feedback and corrective actions ensuring consistent, high-quality inspections standard and performance.
- Any other tasks to be assigned by N+1 Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce marketing, or any related field.
- 5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, ideally in government services & international trade business / TIC business
- Strong knowledge / experience dealing with government services & international trade business in relating to agriculture / electrical & electronic / food / manufacturing etc
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing teams
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
