  1. Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

 

Invoice & Cost Controller is a strategic finance role responsible for managing the invoicing process, accounts receivable operations, and ensures accurate, timely billing to customers. He/she also manages project and operational costs, analyses cost structures,..

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Invoicing & Billing Management: generate and issue accurate invoices to customers, Verify invoice accuracy against contracts/purchase orders/and delivery documentation, ensure compliance with customer billing requirements and contractual terms
  • Collections & Credit Management: ppursue collection of past-due invoices, communicate with customers regarding payment issues
  • Customer & Stakeholder Communication: respond to customer billing inquiries, provide invoice copies and payment information, coordinate with sales on pricing/contract issues, communicate with operations on delivery/service completion
  • Prepare budget/ forecast in collaboration with department heads.
  • Project Cost Tracking: track project costs from initiation through completion and Manage project budgets and cost forecasts
  • Perform regular financial reports for the regional/head office.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to perform monthly closing activities, monitor actual results versus budget and forecast
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (tax, audit, ..) collection plans
  • Coordinate external and internal audits, maintain documentation and audit trails.
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Head of Department

 

  1. Job Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in controller level position
  • Leadership and stakeholders’ management capabilities
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy standards
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI software
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
