Job Description:

Report to: Head of Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC)

Working location: Sky Gate Building, Phu Nhuan, HCMC

Type of contract: Permanent

 

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing payments to suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations. This role requires a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing vendor relationships and tax compliance. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

 

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities:

• Perform receivable accounting; reconcile balance between detailed and general accounting data; monitor and summarize customer debt.
• Record, check daily payment Interco transactions from departments to make sure sufficient documents attached, required approval levels.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports.
• Control, monitor and be responsible for general accounting report monthly, yearly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing process.
• Follow up with auditors during audit fieldwork to address related issues.
• Others assigned by head of team.

Candidate Profile

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

• Hands-on experience with corporate tax compliance, including VAT and withholding tax, is essential.

3. Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

4. Language: Fluency in English language
