Job Title: BRCGS Auditor

Location: Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City

Job Overview:

As a BRCGS Auditor at Bureau Veritas Vietnam, you will be responsible for conducting BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) audits for clients, with a particular focus on the packaging sector. You will ensure that clients comply with BRCGS requirements and provide them with expert advice on achieving and maintaining certification standards. This role involves travel to client sites and requires a deep understanding of food safety, packaging, quality management, and the BRCGS standards. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, follow strictly HSE requirements, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct BRCGS audits, particularly focusing on packaging, in accordance with the relevant standards, guidelines, and Bureau Veritas procedures.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, clearly highlighting any areas of non-compliance related to packaging and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Communicate audit findings to clients in a professional manner, providing guidance on BRCGS requirements and best practices in packaging.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BRCGS standards, packaging industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist clients with the certification process, providing advice on BRCGS implementation and compliance, especially in the packaging sector.
  • Participate in internal training sessions and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance team capabilities in packaging auditing.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of audit reports and associated documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit team and the broader organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Packaging Technology, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or auditing, with a strong understanding of BRCGS standards and packaging processes.
  • BRCGS Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000), packaging standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in the packaging sector, with an understanding of packaging materials, processes, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English is essential.
