Job Description: The Customer Service Officer within the Building & Infrastructure department plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the department. The primary responsibilities include recording department meeting minutes, managing subcontractor relations, handling contracts, and facilitating customer interactions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Record department meeting minutes and related department meetings.
  • Search for subcontractors, and qualify subcontractors.
  • Complete contracts with company subcontractors.
  • Send reports to customers.
  • Send payment requests to customers according to the payment milestones of the Contract and track payments.
  • Manage delivery and receipt of tools and operational equipment.
  • Monitor Customer/subcontractor payments.
  • Receive documents from the Project Coordinator to complete accounting procedures.
  • Support printing project records and documents.
  • Supports storing project documents and reports on a shared drive.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative or customer service roles, preferably in a construction or infrastructure-related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in contract management and understanding of contractual terms and conditions is a plus.
