Job Purpose:

The BRC Auditor is responsible for conducting BRC (British Retail Consortium) audits at various client sites, assessing compliance with global food safety standards, and ensuring that organizations meet the rigorous requirements of BRC certification. The auditor will evaluate processes, document systems, and provide guidance for continuous improvement in food safety practices. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, follow strictly HSE requirements, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct BRC Audits:

    • Plan, organize, and execute audits according to BRC Global Standard guidelines for Food Safety.
    • Perform thorough evaluations of clients' food safety management systems, including HACCP plans, food safety policies, and risk management.
    • Ensure audits are conducted in a fair and objective manner, providing value-added feedback to clients.
  • Reporting:

    • Prepare detailed, accurate audit reports within the required time frame.
    • Highlight non-conformities, risks, and areas for improvement, along with actionable recommendations for corrective action.
  • Client Support & Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings and clarifications.
    • Provide technical assistance and expert advice on compliance with BRC standards and food safety best practices.
    • Engage with clients to support their certification renewal process and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement:

    • Stay updated on changes in BRC Global Standard, industry regulations, and food safety trends.
    • Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
    • Collaborate with other auditors and certification bodies to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Internal Coordination:

    • Work closely with Bureau Veritas' certification team and other relevant departments to ensure smooth audit scheduling and documentation processing.
    • Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas’ internal quality assurance and reporting procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food safety auditing, preferably with BRC standards.
    • Proven track record in food industry quality assurance, HACCP implementation, or food safety audits.
  • Certifications:

    • BRC Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
    • Certification in ISO 22000, HACCP, or other relevant food safety standards (advantageous).
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Vietnamese.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
