MAIN TASKS
The Architectural Field Engineer shall be responsible for daily supervision and monitoring Contractor’s and its sub-contractor construction execution plans for Architectural scopes of works for the LQM & LQU at the LQ Fabrication yard to ensure the Scopes are performed in a safe manner, in compliance with project schedule, milestones, targets, and in compliance with Project approved Procedures, Specifications, Codes, Standards and Contract Requirements.
Roles and responsibilities of the Architectural Field Engineer for EPCI-1 include but are not limited to the following major roles and responsibilities:
- To coordinate with internal and external parties on engineering, procurement/materials, onshore construction/fabrication, onshore/offshore installation, testing, documentation, completion/hand over of architectural scopes for the LQM, LQU at the LQ fabrication yard and for the Buildings of the CPP Topsides.
- To double check Architectural drawings, to monitor any changes/updates on P&ID and to monitor, manage and interface with all related team for the changes.
- To coordinate with engineering team to prepare a necessary paper works/work instructions, responding site queries related to architectural issues to fabricators/sub-contractors,
- To review all relevant construction/fabrication drawings, fabrication procedures, method of statements, specification etc to ensure the architectural scopes to be constructed according to Codes/Standards and Contract requirements.
- To interface/coordinate with fabricators/sub-contractors and related teams to finalize a solution for Architectural issues at the fabrication yard to meet the approved procedure, Codes/Standards and Contract Requirements.
- To coordinate with material Controller and Procurement Team to ensure the materials are supplied as per Contract Requirements and meet project schedule.
- To supervise, monitor Contractor and its-subcontractor’s construction plan for architectural scopes and coordinate with Contractor and sub-contractor for construction, completion, testing and closing out all Architectural punch list prior to handing over.
- Timely report to the EPCI-1 Construction Manager any area of concern (if any).
- To perform Ad hoc works that may be required by the Construction Manager EPCI-1 and/or Project Manager/Project Department General Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Qualified in technical & architectural background.
- Good command in English, writing, listening, and speaking.
Experiences:
- At least 15-year experiences in oil and gas industry in a similar position.
- Involve in at least 01 LQ Module fabrication works in a similar position.
- Good knowledge and understanding of engineering and construction, load out, pre-commissioning & Commissioning, transportation, and installation, hook up of offshore Oil and Gas platforms.
- Computer skill: Office software, planning and project schedule software.
Specific Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of the activities within the project groups,
- Good knowledge of other groups' activities within company.
- Good knowledge of contractor, supplier’s functions, and their capacity of supply.
Business understanding:
- Good understanding of the activities within the project groups.
- Good understanding of other groups' activities within the Company.
- Good understanding of contractors, supplier’s functions, and their capacity of supply.
